It started with an agile health check

Enexis wanted to challenge their agile program organization with an independent outside-in view. Our health check was the start of a Quality Assurance relationship.

Why

The Dutch government has the ambition to switch to 100% sustainable energy before 2050. As one of the largest grid companies in the Netherlands, Enexis has an important role in facilitating this energy transition. By transforming into a Scaled Agile organization, Enexis increases business agility to prepare for future challenges.

What

In 2020, PMX executed a health check on the Scaled Agile program organization – consisting of internal employees, a large international system integrator and multiple external consultants. Objective of the health check was to provide observations and recommendations towards the Lean-Agile way of working.

How

We executed the initial agile health check for Enexis in the period of one week. In that time we interviewed key stakeholders, delivered a report with insights on their agile organization, and delivered a personal debrief sharing  recommendations.

Continuous Quality Assurance

Following delivery of the health check report, PMX was asked to take an active role in ensuring follow-up of the recommendations. In a Quality Assurance role, we performed regular checks into the status of the recommendations and independently reported to the steering committee. This ensured focus and drove a continuous improvement mindset.
