Our journeyKnowledge on its own is nothing. But the application of useful knowledge, that is powerful.
KnowledgeDo you wonder how ‘Scrum’ and ‘Agile’ could work for you? Then we have the training for you!
This full day training provides you with fundamental knowledge of agile and the Scrum framework. This will allow you to prepare for the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) I or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) I exam. These certificates are widely recognized as a key qualification to participate in a Scrum team. But even if you will not be ‘scrumming’, the agile principles – with their foundation in Lean – provide you with tools to increase your success in reaching objectives. The training incorporates many hands-on exercises that will bring the agile concepts to life.
The training can also be extended with an interactive group or a personal coaching session that focuses on your real-life agile challenges and offers best practices to effectively address these.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss your objectives and how we can tailor this training to suit your needs.
Get in touchBefore stepping into Scrum theory, we share the history of Scrum – and how research shows that projects with an agile approach have a significantly better success rate than traditional (waterfall) projects. We then go into the theory and walk through the complete Scrum process, from Sprint Planning to the Daily Standup, the Sprint Review and Retrospective. You will gain insights on why estimating is done differently and why work isn’t ‘Done’ until it’s done. You will also have the opportunity to practice an exam and get tips how to best prepare for the real exam (should you want to take this).
In this optional group session you decide (as a group) which topics you would like to cover – addressing common real-life challenges. Topics range from how to conduct an effective standup, how to build a meaningful Kanban board or make agile work in distributed teams (working with different cultures) to avoiding common pitfalls. We also offer personal coaching to help you effectively address the challenges of implementing Scrum in your work.
